Adult League

The Eastern Suburbs Baseball Club has Adult teams that play in both the Cronulla Sutherland Minor League Baseball Association, (summer), and the St George Baseball Association (winter), competitions.
We are always looking for new players to join the club and play. Here are some quick facts about our teams:

Summer Season

The summer season runs from early September to mid-December with a summer break and resumes play in late January or early February through to March (including playoffs). Games are played Saturday afternoons and Sundays, in season watch the weekly draw for game times and grounds.

Player registration opens in July. Teams are finalised by early August, so please register early. Team and coach announcements are made in August, and training commences mid-late August. Team training nights are either Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursdays, with day and time being coordinated with your coach. Training sessions are either once or twice a week for 1 – 2 hours.

Summer Season Registration Fees $275.00 – $420.00inc.GST

Winter Season

Winter Baseball is played from the start of April until the end of July, with post season games of semi-finals, finals and the grand final in August.

Training is held during the week, usually on a Wednesday. Accredited coaching is available at these sessions.

Games are played either on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon during Winter, home or away.

Uniform

Club uniform consists of an Eastern Suburbs playing jersey, grey belt looped pants, Eastern Suburbs cap, club socks and a black belt. All uniform requirements can be purchased through our Uniform and Apparel supplier All Sports Apparel.

A baseball glove is required and Adult players may wear metal cleats. Protective crotch protectors and batting helmets are also required. You can purchase baseball protective equipment from specialty shops such as Diamond One or Red Stitches. Rebel also stock some items. Catchers protective pads are supplied by the Club.

Code of Conduct

All club officials, spectators and players are expected to abide by this code of conduct for the enjoyment of the game of baseball. Everyone who watches or participates in the game has the right to be treated fairly, with dignity and respect.
