Congratulations to our Little League Majors, divisional champions defeating Yarrawarrah Tigers.
We proudly celebrate our first Little League Majors title in the history of our Club.
After a slow start to the 2023/ 24 season, our Majors team pulled together, scraping into fourth position on the ladder, thus securing last place in the finals round.
As a distant fourth, the team had to dig deep, play with heart, and win each game from the elimination round.
Beating top tier teams, East Hills Raptors and Cronulla Sharks they then faced The Tigers in the grand final. The Tigers who came into the finals top of the division were favourites for the win.
As expected, the game was tight, with both teams battling for pride and the title. Both teams displayed precision in the field, and their batters and pitchers played to the best of their abilities. And on the day, our Dolphins prevailed to win their first Little League Majors Championship.
MVP was our very own Finlay, catching 3 fantastic outs at left field and making hits on the plate.
